The Ukrainian firm “Olys” has completed the design and launch of a new grain processing plant in Estonia for the local company Torvaaugu Mahe Talu (Leibre).
Dmitry Kisylevsky, the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy, reported this.
The plant is based on the advanced „Optymatic-G-24“ technology, which processes buckwheat into groats.
Kisylevsky noted that the facility also includes aspiration systems, gravity conveyors, pneumatic transport, and all necessary electronics and automation.
Olys' technologists customized the equipment to fit the architectural specifics of the Estonian client's production facility and implemented multi-format packaging solutions.
To finance the equipment production, Olys utilized the state program for accessible loans at “5-7-9%”.
He also reminded that the Odessa-based company “Olys” produces over 200 types of equipment for processing grains into flour and groats, cleaning, and quality control. The company designs and installs grain processing plants with capacities ranging from 15 to 300 tons per day, with the cheapest plant costing around 4 million UAH.
Exports account for 25% of the company's sales, with localization of equipment around 75%. The company employs 211 staff members.
Kormotech has begun construction of a $62 million plant in Lithuania.
Kormotech Group, the largest pet food manufacturer in Ukraine, is expanding its capabilities by building a second plant in Kedainiai to strengthen its position in the European market.
This facility will triple Kormotech's production capacity and position the company among the top 30 global pet food producers.
Kormotech is creating 200 new jobs, complementing its team of 170 Ukrainian and Lithuanian specialists and fostering the development of related industries.
