From April 20 to 26, the World Ice Hockey Championship took place in Hungary.
Part of the Ukraine U18 team was goalkeeper Ilya Bobrov, a graduate of the Odessa sports school «Dzhinistra».
The Ukrainian team delivered an impressive performance, securing a silver medal.
In Division 1A, there were 7 teams, and the results for the Ukrainian team were as follows:
Hungary – Ukraine 1:7;
Ukraine – Denmark 1:5;
Ukraine – Australia 6:3;
Ukraine – Slovenia 7:1;
Kazakhstan – Ukraine 2:3.
The team was coached by Ruslan Korop, who worked hard to prepare the athlete for the competition.
In the ice hockey section of KDYUSSH «Dzhinistra», there are 69 young athletes training.
