The mobile application "Diia" has introduced a new feature as part of the "eRecovery" initiative called "Construction Funding".

This was announced by the representatives of "Diia".

"If your house was destroyed due to military actions, you can build a new one on your own land with state support under the "eRecovery" program," the press release states.

It is noted that the service is available for those who lost their private house due to military actions and have land to build a new one. Construction is only permitted on state-controlled territory where there are no active military operations.

To receive compensation:

1. Submit a compensation application via Diia or at the Administrative Services Center (ASC).

2. Register the start of construction works through the Diia portal or at the ASC.

3. After receiving compensation, cancel the ownership of the destroyed property.

4. Submit an application for fund disbursement in the Diia app: Services → eRecovery → Construction Funding.

You need to update your bank details and select the construction object according to the previously submitted notification of the start of construction works.

The compensation is issued in two parts of 50%. The first part must be spent 90% and confirmed in "Diia". It must be used within 18 months, and both parts within 36 months from the moment of receiving the first one. Otherwise, the payment will revert to the state.

Reminder:

Through the "Diia" app, you can submit an application to the Register of Damages for compensation for emotional distress due to the loss of a close family member.

Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can submit an additional six categories of claims for compensation to the international Register of Damages through "Diia".

The "Diia" app has added information from the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property regarding the fact of housing destruction or the submitted application for eRecovery.
