The Ministry of Digital Transformation has initiated the monetization of the 'Diiia' digital platform and plans to establish it as a separate state entity with the potential for an IPO.

This was announced by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during a conference.

According to the minister, monetization started in May 2025, and the platform could see its first profits as early as June. One of the initial monetization tools is document sharing.

"Every month, tens of thousands of accounts are opened online through 'Diiia'. For instance, on one day, monobank opened 22,000 accounts. Financial institutions are willing to pay for such services," Fedorov noted.

He also added that the ministry is gradually working on separating 'Diiia' into a standalone government company that could attract businesses and potentially sell its shares.

"We will slowly separate 'Diiia' into a new state company. It is possible that later, the company’s shares will be sold. This means that 'Diiia' will become a marketplace where businesses can launch their own services and utilize our infrastructure," the minister stated.
