Odessa has welcomed new emergency vehicles thanks to the USAID initiative.
«This unexpected but very welcome support from the USAID Energy Security Project is invaluable. Although the program has officially ended, Odessa has received three additional emergency vehicles to aid our municipal services. We are grateful to our partners for honoring their commitments even after the project’s conclusion,» said Mayor Gennady Trukhanov, expressing his gratitude to the American people.
The special vehicles are equipped with everything necessary for the effective operation of emergency teams, from quick repair tools to gear that assists municipal workers.
In 2023, the municipal enterprise «City Heat Supply of Odessa» already received three emergency vehicles from USAID as part of the Energy Security Project. The mayor interacted with the municipal workers who showcased both the new and previously provided vehicles. These specialized vehicles have proven their effectiveness in challenging situations, ensuring rapid response and quality repair work.
