Open door days and health events have become common practice for family clinics in Odesa.
The primary goal is to encourage residents to take care of their health, as regular medical check-ups are the best way to detect and prevent diseases.
This was stated by Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, during his visit to one such event at the Primary Health Care Center No. 3.
This clinic serves over 13,000 residents in a densely populated area.
Recently, a major renovation was completed, providing comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff. Among other improvements, the entrance area and restrooms were renovated to meet modern accessibility standards for individuals with limited mobility.
To ensure operational autonomy, the clinic is equipped with a generator and has a 1000-liter water tank.
In addition to standard services, Primary Health Care Center No. 3 offers mobile palliative care, mental health support services, and tuberculosis treatment. They have also established a substitute maintenance therapy program for individuals with dependencies.
To receive free services under the state medical guarantee program, one must sign a declaration with their family doctor.
