Following a hostile strike on the night of September 23, residential buildings in Odesa were damaged. The city quickly responded by mobilizing resources to assist those affected.
By 8:00 the next morning, an operational headquarters was already at the site.
City services such as the Utility Company "Zhukovsky" and local administration, along with specialized equipment, were involved in addressing the aftermath.
According to Marina Lozovenko, head of the Kyiv District Administration, over 150 windows were damaged, and residents are seeking help for temporary closures.
A homeowners' association commission is documenting the damage to apartments, and consultations are being provided directly at the headquarters.
As noted by Veronica Etnarovich, advisor to the Mayor of Odesa on NGO cooperation, charitable organizations play a crucial role in community support.
Organizations such as the Charity Fund "Winds of Change", "Nova Ukraina", the NGO "April Tenth", the Charity Fund "Council of Cities", and the Charity Fund "Food of Life. Odesa" are providing humanitarian aid, window film, hot meals, and legal consultations to residents.
The volunteer organization "Dobrobat" has repaired the damaged windows at Odesa Lyceum No. 82.
The operational headquarters continues its work in the Kyiv District Administration building on Ak. Koroleva Street.
