A delegation from SECI, led by Executive Coordinator Mr. Michael Facecas, visited Odesa. The purpose of the visit was to accompany humanitarian supplies to the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, including generators, computer equipment, as well as medical and rehabilitation devices.
Mr. Facecas confirmed that, as promised during the last meeting, additional humanitarian supplies for Odesa are being prepared.
During the dialogue, urgent needs of the city and anticipated challenges were discussed, particularly regarding the stability of the heating season.
Odesa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, expressed gratitude for the support of southern communities, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the well-being of families of military personnel: “We must support those who remain at home during these challenging times.”
Additional energy sources, such as solid-fuel boilers, could become critically important for the city. Currently, there are 8 reserve boilers in Odesa, but the city administration is considering increasing this number to ensure the stable operation of social infrastructure.
“Our collaboration will continue, and we will return to you very soon,” assured Mr. Michael Facecas.
