On October 11, 2024, during a meeting of the selection committee for ambassadors, new representatives for the city of Odessa were appointed.
Odessa now has ambassadors in the following countries: the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Bulgaria, and Prague (Czech Republic):
- Mr. Serhiy Mania - Ambassador of Odessa to the Republic of Moldova;
- Mr. Mark Petrov - Ambassador of Odessa to the Republic of Bulgaria;
- Mr. Yevhen Dyemenok - Ambassador of Odessa to Prague (Czech Republic).
The Ambassador of Odessa is a person who contributes to enhancing the city’s image and prestige, as well as fostering cultural, economic, and tourist cooperation with partners both in Ukraine and abroad.
Currently, Odessa has 13 ambassadors in countries such as Italy, Greece, France, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, Poland, Morocco, Kenya, and Ukraine (specifically Kharkiv), as well as in the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic (Prague).
