The Podil community has introduced a cutting-edge mobile power source – a complex featuring a diesel generator, photovoltaic system, and batteries. This equipment will enhance the community's resilience during power outages.
This was reported by the Odesa regional state administration.
In case of power failures or damage to the electrical grid, the mobile unit can quickly provide electricity to essential facilities.
The capacity of the unit supports up to 5,000 subscribers, enabling the operation of hospitals, schools, and other critical infrastructure in crisis situations.
In the future, such complexes may be deployed throughout the Odesa region, creating a network of mobile energy solutions for communities.
“The issue of energy security is becoming one of the key priorities. Odesa region, as a strategically important area, shows how, through joint efforts, we can not only respond to current threats but also lay the groundwork for a sustainable future,” the ODA emphasized.
