At 24 Serednya Street, building 4 in Odesa, restoration work has commenced on an apartment building that suffered significant damage due to a Russian rocket strike.

The building sustained major damage to its external walls, partitions, and structural elements. Urgent stabilization work was performed to prevent the building from collapsing, halting further deterioration.

«The building on Serednya is undoubtedly one of the most challenging projects. Thanks to our unity and timely funding for stabilization, we were able to avert an even greater tragedy,» said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Following all necessary procedures and the results of the tender, LLC «Stikon» has begun restoration work on the site.

«After the completion of the restoration and emergency response works, a project was commissioned at the Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture. The project underwent expert evaluation, and restoration work has now commenced,» noted Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the Odesa City Council's Department of Municipal Economy.

Currently, specialists are focusing on restoring the building's external structures, internal walls, and partitions. Preparatory works for reinforcing the building and erecting new structures have also begun.

The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2025.

A total of 42 million UAH has been allocated from the city budget for the restoration of the damaged building, including 7 million UAH for addressing the attack's aftermath and 35 million UAH for restoration.
