On April 29, an important event took place at the Odesa National Scientific Library — a lecture titled «The Impact of War on Mental Health» featuring Antonina Bruss, a member of the Ukrainian Association of Psychotherapy.

This event was part of the program «Mental Health: The Library as a Space for Support», implemented in collaboration with the Coordinating Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine under the initiative of the First Lady Olena Zelenska «How are you?».

Cadets from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs were invited to participate. The lecture served as a platform for an open discussion on how three years of full-scale war have altered the psychological landscape of Ukrainians.

Ms. Bruss emphasized that war is not just a physical confrontation but also a profound emotional and mental struggle that affects everyone, regardless of gender, age, or status.

The event contributed to fostering emotional literacy, raised cadets' awareness about the mental consequences of war, and provided tools for maintaining inner balance.
