Employees of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» are continually engaged in repairing public transport stops. Unfortunately, acts of vandalism occur daily: benches and trash bins are destroyed, and windows of the stops are shattered. Additionally, some stops are damaged due to traffic accidents.
Since the beginning of 2024, vandals have smashed 33 windows at bus stops, damaged 33 benches, 85 trash bins, and 15 roofs. The staff also has to clean the stops from writings and posters left by unknown individuals.
The municipal enterprise «City Roads» is responsible for 1012 public transport stops.
Specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of the areas around the stops, repair and restore benches, bins, and pavilions, and also wash and paint them.
The city council once again urges residents and visitors to treat municipal property with care. Deliberate destruction of municipal property can lead to criminal liability.
