Yesterday, a significant meeting took place in the Odesa region involving the head of the Odesa OVA, Oleg Kiper, the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Vitaliy Koval, and the head of the State Fisheries Agency, Vladyslav Neveselyi. According to the press service of the Odesa OVA, key issues regarding agricultural development were discussed.
The main topics included irrigation, livestock, agroprocessing, and fisheries. Other points of discussion included selection, the development of agricultural education, the construction of vegetable storage facilities, and the support of domestic winemaking. Additionally, a new irrigation system was launched in the Odesa district.
This system is designed to irrigate over 12,200 hectares of agricultural land, featuring a total length of main canals of 120 km and consists of 47 pumping stations that supply water for irrigation. Meeting participants also visited agribusiness enterprises to familiarize themselves with their operations and engage with the staff.
