To aid Ukrzaliznytsia, which recently faced a major cyber attack, Ukrposhta has released a unique stamp as part of the «Own Stamp» project.
This was reported by Ukrposhta, as covered by a correspondent from the Ukrainian Information Service.
The new stamp features an artwork by Alexander Nikityuk, depicting the iconic glass in a glass holder, a timeless symbol of train journeys. Warm as a summer evening in a compartment and sturdy as railway tracks, this stamp serves as a reminder that true traditions cannot be broken by any attack.
While every passenger of Ukrzaliznytsia can enjoy a branded glass of tea during their journey, the number of stamps is limited.
100 exclusive sheets featuring the legendary Ukrzaliznytsia symbol will be randomly distributed among passengers who wrote supportive messages to the railway workers in the feedback form within the app, from the moment it was restored after the cyber attack until the return of tickets lost due to the attack.
Along with each stamp, Ukrzaliznytsia adds a special bonus — 1440 iron hugs, which is the length of the longest railway route from Zaporizhzhia to Uzhhorod.
As a reminder, «hugs» are bonuses that passengers earn for their journeys when purchasing tickets through the Ukrzaliznytsia app. Therefore, more kilometers mean more hugs, which can be exchanged for various bonuses and discounts from Ukrzaliznytsia and its partners within the loyalty program «Iron Friends,» which will be restored very soon.
