Hospital No. 8 in Odesa boasts a rich history in providing rehabilitation services.
Ten years ago, the city government established a dedicated department for recovery and rehabilitation, which is regularly updated with new equipment funded by the municipal budget.
Last year, approximately 300 patients underwent inpatient rehabilitation, while more than 450 individuals received outpatient rehabilitation support.
This year, the hospital has revamped its training areas for physical activities and for helping individuals with disabilities adapt to urban environments.
Both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services are offered free of charge with referrals from family or specialized doctors.
