The representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in the Odessa region, Maria Popova, assessed the progress of the inclusive beach's preparation at Delfin for the upcoming summer season.

Currently, work is underway to install walkways, and all recreation zones are regularly inspected for accessibility: government representatives along with experts from the Barrier-Free Council are visiting these locations, which include veterans and people with disabilities.

Maria Popova confirmed that the preparations are proceeding well, and the city will ensure the complete organization of the beach's operation, including water supply, sewage, and other essential services.

"If there are no obstacles to opening it, we expect the launch of the updated inclusive beach," noted the Ombudsman representative.

Head of the Primorsky District Administration Marat Korolev mentioned that another inclusive beach is being prepared for opening this season at the 11th station of the Great Fountain. Currently, renovation work is ongoing to meet accessibility requirements.

All matters concerning the preparation of inclusive locations, including beaches, for the summer season are under the personal control of the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov.

It is worth noting that the year 2025 has been declared the Year of Accessibility in Odessa.
