Safety rules during fire hazards
To prevent fires, it is essential to follow these guidelines:
- Do not burn dry grass or leaves in your yard, as this can lead to uncontrolled fires;
- Avoid open flames near dry vegetation and outbuildings;
- Do not discard cigarette butts or matches onto dry ground;
- Avoid visiting forests entirely, as there is a risk of encountering explosive items littering vast areas of Ukraine.
If you spot a fire, immediately contact the Emergency Service at number 101.
Experts emphasize that in hot and windy weather, even a single spark can lead to a large-scale ecological disaster.
