Smart Medical Products has unveiled its innovative handheld ultrasound system, HandyUsound, which captured attention at the 34th International Medical Exhibition Public Health 2025.
This system, designed by Ukrainian engineer Maksym Smoliar, aims to enhance medical diagnostics in environments where access to traditional equipment is limited.
Weighing just 10 kg, HandyUsound is exceptionally portable, with an impressive battery life allowing for up to 8 hours of autonomous operation without needing an electrical outlet.
The primary goal of this development is to provide military medics with a reliable tool for diagnosis in challenging conditions. This system is tailored for field use, making it essential for tactical medicine.
“HandyUsound is a product created for the real needs of medics. We have merged engineering solutions with clinical requirements to ensure quality diagnostics where it matters most,” said Maksym Smoliar.
During the exhibition, HandyUsound received positive feedback from experts and medical professionals who recognized its potential for use in mobile units and remote clinics.
The system also boasts several unique features, including:

Smart Medical Products plans to expand the supply of HandyUsound to hospitals and civilian clinics across Ukraine, enabling high-quality diagnostics even in areas with limited infrastructure.
