The Odesa City Council's press service has reported that an attack has impacted residential areas in a densely populated part of Odesa.
Many apartments and three schools have suffered damage, with over 90 windows broken. At least three individuals have been reported injured.
Oksana Bujnevich, head of the city's education department, has alerted families to the dangers for children following the nighttime bombardment:
«Please remind your children not to touch any suspicious objects found on the ground, as it can be dangerous. Explaining this to kids may be challenging, but it's essential».
All relevant services are currently engaged in addressing the aftermath of the Russian attacks.
An operational headquarters will be set up in the district administration starting in the morning, where residents can receive guidance on submitting documents for financial assistance to restore windows and doors, as well as obtain compensation from the state budget through the eRecovery program.
«Additionally, our reliable partners – charitable and community organizations – will provide kits for temporarily sealing window openings,» the city officials reported.
