The head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, discussed the upcoming preparations for the summer season on television.

He stated that the order to begin preparations for the beaches has already been signed. Officials are collaborating with military personnel and emergency services. The main goal now is to check the availability of shelters, secure areas from sea mines, and identify safe zones for swimming.

“There is no point in restricting people. They should be able to relax, get their vitamin D, and relieve psychological stress. Odesa is alive, and this is important not just for locals but for the entire country,” Kiper remarked.

He also noted that proper beach preparations are essential for the development of tourism in Odesa.
