Today in Odesa, on Deribasivska Street, a fire broke out in an apartment located on the second floor of a three-story residential building.
The firefighting efforts were hampered by heavy smoke, which required rescuers to use breathing and vision protection gear.
The fire was extinguished promptly. One cat was saved, but sadly, another could not be rescued in time.
There were no injuries reported among people.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
