On March 9th, Odessa's Shevchenko Park hosted a celebration titled «Poetry Celebration», organized by the public organization «Defense of the State» to honor Taras Shevchenko's birthday. Participants recited the poet's works and received candy in return.
This event attracted both adults and children, who eagerly recited the Kobzar's verses. Everyone who participated enjoyed not only the poetry but also the sweet treats.
The organizers noted that the event sparked significant interest among the residents of Odessa. Many gathered to pay tribute to the great poet.
