Children's Clinical Hospital No. 3 in Odessa has launched a new modern reception and diagnostic department following extensive renovations, operating around the clock.
The department features specialized patient isolation units that ensure compliance with high sanitary standards, crucial for treating children with infectious diseases.
Additionally, the hospital has renovated comfortable wards for surgical patients. Endoscopic surgery is actively implemented with a new room for various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Renovation work continued even during wartime, with a focus on ensuring barrier-free access.
Mayor Gennady Trukhanov emphasized the importance of improving medical conditions for Odessa's residents during the opening.
“We are continuously working to create comfortable environments for patients and medical staff, providing modern equipment and qualified specialists,” said the mayor.
At the end of 2023, a new emergency department was also opened, meeting the medical needs of children in the Peresyp district. Assistance is available for accidents, injuries, and vaccinations.
This department is in high demand, with around 2000 children receiving medical care already. The range of services is continually expanding, including planned surgical interventions.
Children's Hospital No. 3 is a multi-profile medical institution with highly qualified specialists. Medical assistance is provided free of charge under state programs.
