Students from Odesa won two silver and three bronze medals at the national physics competition. All the awardees are pupils of the Richelieu Scientific Lyceum, demonstrating remarkable results among 150 participants from various regions. This was reported by the director of the Odesa Regional Education Department, Oleksandr Lonchak.
According to the competition results, II degree diplomas were awarded to Nazarii Vraschuk (10th grade, competed in 11th) and Yurii Semenov-Hamarov (10th grade). Third place was taken by Kostiantyn Bordiian (9th grade), Dmytro Loshkaruk, and Lev Shevchenko (8th grade). One of the winners, Nazarii Vraschuk, also received an invitation to the selection camp for candidates for the Ukrainian team for the International Physics Olympiad.
The contribution of the physics teachers of the Richelieu Lyceum – Andrii Katz, Vadym Manakin, and Oksana Kolesnikova – who prepared the prize winners for the competition was also highlighted.
