From May 22 to 26, 2025, Bucharest (Romania) hosted the final of the International Computer Project Competition INFOMATRIX-2025. This year, the competition brought together 400 students from 20 countries, showcasing 350 projects.

The Ukrainian delegation consisted of 21 finalists from Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Volyn.

Our participants competed in five categories: “Programming,” “Computer Art,” “Hardware Management,” “Short Film,” and “Hackathon.” The jury evaluated both the projects and the presentations in English. The projects were showcased at designated locations, while the Hackathon teams operated in a specially arranged space.

As a result of the competition, the Ukrainian team garnered 5 bronze, 5 silver, 2 gold, and 2 platinum medals.

Odesa students also contributed significantly to this victory.

The platinum medal was awarded to 11th-grade student Yegor Bovkun from Odesa Lyceum No. 65 (project titled “Architectural History of Churches in Ukraine,” supervisor - informatics teacher Oleg Pustovoyt).

The gold medal was won by student Agata Ignatova from Odesa Young Technicians Station “Sigma” (project titled “Guardians of a Sustainable Future,” supervisors - Oksana Kostenko and Hanna Momotyuk);

The bronze medal was received by 8th-grade student Taisia Tostohan from Odesa Lyceum No. 65 (team project titled “ProDreams – In Action!”, supervisor - informatics teacher Alla Omelchenko).
