As part of the French culture week in Odesa, the Central City Library named after I. Franko organized a literary evening titled «Each Person Has Their Stars», commemorating the anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of the beloved «The Little Prince».
During the event, winners of the nationwide reading competition dedicated to the fairy tale were also awarded. Around 100 participants from all over Ukraine took part in the competition.
Fans of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry submitted videos of themselves reciting excerpts from «The Little Prince» in both Ukrainian and French. The winners showcased their work and received certificates and prizes.
The atmosphere of the evening was enhanced by performances from vocalists Sofia Mardarenko and Anastasia Yeryomenko from the Arts School No. 13 in Odesa, bard Anatoliy Sebov, and poet Vyacheslav Slysharchuk, who recited poems dedicated to Saint-Exupéry.
