On August 20, 2025, instructors from the Public Organization «Ukrainian Mine Association» conducted training seminars for educators and children at Odessa preschools No. 137 and 300, focusing on risk prevention related to mines and explosive devices.
The primary goal of this event is to enhance safety for both children and adults, fostering safe behaviors to avoid threats posed by mines and explosive items, as well as training on how to respond during shelling.
The Public Organization «Ukrainian Mine Association» implements humanitarian projects in the field of mine action, specifically educating the public on risk prevention related to mines and explosive items. Recently, the organization launched the project "Building Capacity in Ukraine, including Non-Technical Survey of Areas and Risk Prevention from Explosive Items” in partnership with The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) and funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
