As of June 29, over 90% of patients in contracted primary healthcare facilities have verified their data in the electronic health system.

This information was shared by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko on Facebook.

He stated: "Changes in the healthcare system are impossible without an honest conversation with those who work with patients daily. I met with family doctors to discuss the challenges they face in their work and to find optimal solutions together. Open dialogue is a guarantee of system resilience, especially in wartime. One of the key issues currently concerning the professional community is the verification of patient data in the electronic health system."

"I understand that this creates some additional burden on doctors. However, it is about transparency. It ensures that the system funds real patients, not statistics. This is a fundamental principle of reform: money follows the patient. In the context of limited resources, this principle becomes even more significant," emphasized Lyashko.

He informed that, according to the National Health Service of Ukraine, as of June 29, over 90% of patients in contracted primary healthcare facilities have been verified.

"This is a significant collective effort. To strengthen it, the National Health Service of Ukraine has launched an updated analytical dashboard: each facility can see its own metrics, compare dynamics, and learn from best practices," noted Lyashko.

He also mentioned that they discussed how to act in cases where patients do not pass verification and added that clear solutions will be developed soon.

The Health Minister called on all Ukrainians to support this process: "If you receive services, please confirm your data. It is about our collective responsibility for stability and fairness in the healthcare system."
