Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced his resignation.
This announcement was made public via the official Telegram channel of the Prime Minister.
He stated: "I want to thank our defenders who are holding the front and safeguarding Ukraine! I appreciate President Volodymyr Zelensky for his trust! I'm grateful to my entire team for their tireless work for our nation!".
It is important to note that the resignation of the Prime Minister automatically results in the dismissal of the entire government. The military state law prohibits the termination of the Cabinet's powers during wartime.
Previously: President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers Yulia Svyrydenko and Mykhailo Fedorov, where tasks for the Cabinet for the next six months were outlined.
