This was announced by the head of state via Telegram.
«I have instructed to form a delegation for negotiations with Russia. Rustem Umerov will lead this team, which will include representatives from Ukrainian intelligence, the MFA, and the President's Office», - said Zelensky following a meeting regarding important negotiation processes for Ukraine.
According to the President, during the meeting, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov reported on the outcomes of the second meeting with the Russian side in Istanbul and the agreement for a new meeting in the near future.
«Ukraine is ready to engage in productive dialogue for the release of our people from captivity, the return of abducted children, as well as to halt killings and prepare a meeting of leaders for a real conclusion to this war. Our position is completely transparent. Ukraine has never sought this war, and it is Russia that must end the conflict it started», - emphasized the head of state.
