For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, two freight voyages have been made from the port of "Chornomorsk" to the Georgian port of "Batumi".

This was announced by Tymofiy Murakhovskyi, the director of commercial operations and logistics at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"Two voyages took place on March 18 and 26 from the port of "Chornomorsk" to the port of "Batumi", and we plan to conduct a third voyage next week", he said.

He mentioned that the initial voyages in March were carried out under conditions of information silence. He urged businesses to engage more actively in this direction.

The project is being implemented with the participation of the shipping company "Ukrferry" (Odesa) and the subsidiary of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" UZ Cargo Poland (Warsaw).
