From December 14 to 17, the unique Ukrainian Team Championships in synchronized swimming were held in the capital.

75 athletes competed in teams from Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions, and Kyiv, all vying for the title of champions.

The Odesa region team included talented athletes from the Olympic reserve sports school «Chornomorets» - Vladyslava Kocherba, Yelizaveta Syedova, Sofia Sarukhanyan, and Yulia Rerak.

Vladyslava Kocherba became a four-time champion, winning gold medals in technical, free, and acrobatic groups, as well as among soloists in the technical program.

She is a key member of the Ukrainian national team.

Bronze medals in technical duets were won by Yulia Rerak and Sofia Sarukhanyan, while Yelizaveta Syedova and Yulia Rerak took bronze in free duets.

Among soloists, Sofia Sarukhanyan earned silver twice in both programs.

The athletes were trained by the honored coach of Ukraine, Olga Nikolaychuk.
