From December 5 to 7, 2024, the Ukrainian Climbing Cup took place in Kropyvnytskyi, featuring the speed climbing discipline.
A total of 149 athletes participated, including 67 women and 82 men.
Representing Odesa were students from the Odesa Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve and the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery “Olympian”.
During the Ukrainian Cup, athlete Yevheniia Kolesnyk from the Olympic Reserve School won a silver medal and later improved her performance in the finals, becoming the champion.
Konstantin Pavlenko, a student from the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery “Olympian”, also earned a silver medal in his category.
The athletes were trained by coaches Liubov Zymova and Tetiana Pashaeva.
