Nova Poshta has introduced a new AI-based tool that captures daily images of each of its logistics branches and reports on compliance with standards.

According to Forbes Ukraine, R&D Director Yevgeny Khomenko noted that this technology has helped the company save costs on physical inspections by top management while improving service quality.

Prior to implementing this tool, the company relied on traditional checks, where a territorial manager would visit partner branches, having previously informed them of their arrival. "He arrives, and everything is as per the book. But then we see that customers are saying something quite different," he pointed out.

The R&D director explained that Nova has implemented technology that enables automatic monitoring of compliance with standards—every branch in the company's network is equipped with cameras and must meet specific criteria outlined in a checklist.

It is noted that AI takes daily photos of each branch and immediately analyzes them for compliance. "Where is our employee? Is he in uniform? Are marketing communications present on their desks? Is the trash bin overflowing?" explained Yevgeny Khomenko.

The specialist remarked that through automation, the company has significantly reduced the time and resources spent on quality control across various branches, thereby enhancing service quality. "We are training our AI models to provide recommendations that improve interactions with business partners. We've ceased collaboration with some partners because technology, particularly AI, can replace their services," the manager concluded.

According to Nova Poshta as of July 31, 2025, in the first half of 2025, the operator processed 238 million packages and cargo, which is a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2024. From January to September 2025, the company increased its consolidated net profit by 35.1% compared to the same period last year—to 2.876 billion UAH; consolidated net revenue grew by 21.7%—to 45.727 billion UAH.

As we reported earlier, Nova Poshta is preparing to test entirely new models of parcel lockers. These include four solutions: plastic parcel lockers, foam modular constructors, custom drop boxes, and CONVENIQ.

"All these solutions are currently being prepared for testing in Ukraine. If successful, these innovations will appear in cities and villages across the country," stated the largest commercial logistics company in Ukraine recently.

Additionally, we remind you that starting from December 1, 2025, Nova Poshta will update its tariffs. It is noted that the tariff updates are necessary to maintain the usual speed and quality of service. Meanwhile, the tariffs for parcel delivery up to 2 kg and sending from a village or settlement will remain unchanged.
