Former deputy of the Odessa regional council and chairman of the supervisory board of JSC «Odessagas», Igor Uchitel, has passed away at the age of 70.
Igor Leonidovich was a true Odessan, dedicating his life to his beloved city.
Throughout his career, he moved from being a craftsman to the head of the Supervisory Board of JSC «Odessagas», fulfilling his duties with great dedication.
He made significant contributions to the gas infrastructure of Odessa, being the author of several patents and actively participating in the gasification of numerous districts.
Igor Leonidovich received the Honorary Award named after Marazli of the I, II, and III degrees, a recognition of his efforts for the benefit of Odessa.
Additionally, he was actively involved in community service, supporting the development of sports, particularly basketball, and implementing various cultural and social initiatives.
For many years, he assisted the Odessa Zoo, participated in organizing the «Golden Violins» festival, and other events.
The Odessa City Council and its Executive Committee express their deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, and all who knew Igor Uchitel.
