In the heart of Odessa, at Kinna Street, 12, specialists from the social project «Thousand Doors of Odessa» restored the historic oak doors of the Lamzaki building.

This building was constructed in 1912 under the guidance of architect Alexander Goltzvurm, as reported by the «Thousand Doors of Odessa» team.

What was restored

During the restoration, experts removed multiple layers of old paint from the wooden doors and treated them with protective oils and stains. They also replaced missing elements, including the heels and molding.

In addition to decorative restoration, the glass in the doors was replaced to enhance lighting in the entryway. The doors now close with an automatic closer, and a modern electric lock ensures security.
