Staff at the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have begun preparations for the city's greenery to endure the winter season.
This fall, according to the approved plan, 1064 young trees will be planted, including large seedlings of deciduous species to ensure better adaptation. Specifically, 330 seedlings will be planted where stumps have been removed (white acacia, maple, ash, Japanese sophora, western plane).
The planting of trees is expected to commence around early November.
Moreover, the horticulturists have already started prepping the greenhouses located at the «Troyanda» site for winter. The greenhouses operate year-round, and currently, they are laying seeds for summer flowers, gathering firewood, and covering the greenhouses with plastic film.
Starting in November, the enterprise will also begin the winterization of irrigation systems. There are approximately 50 irrigation systems maintained by «Miskzelentrest» across various city parks and gardens.
