The municipal enterprise «Water Center» oversees 16 drinking fountains located throughout Odesa. The depth of the wells ranges from 110 to 150 meters.
On average, each fountain dispenses 9-11 cubic meters of water per shift (from 08:00 to 20:00). Treated water from the wells is accessible to all residents.
Water from the fountains is tested monthly to ensure compliance with state sanitary regulations.
On November 17, 2024, due to significant attacks on the energy sector, water and electricity supply was halted in Odesa. This led to a surge in demand at the fountains, with approximately 13,000 and 12,000 visitors on the 17th and 18th, respectively.
Under normal conditions, around 10,000 visitors utilize the 14 fountains across the city. Each fountain is equipped with a backup power source in case of electricity outages.
The fountains are located at the following addresses:
Dalinitska St., 25;
Heavenly Hundred Ave., 14;
