Experts from the municipal enterprise «Service Center» have inaugurated another beloved fountain that residents cherish. This fountain is located in Theatre Square, adjacent to the Odessa Opera House, and is considered one of the most beautiful water features in the city.
A total of 15 out of 27 fountains managed by the enterprise are set to be activated this spring.
Currently, the fountains in the Municipal Garden, on the Exchange, and Theatre Squares are already in operation.
The municipal workers aim to have the other fountains operational by May 5th.
The fountains operate from 9 AM to 9 PM.
It is important to note that fountains are energy-intensive structures, and due to the state of war, some of Odessa's fountains remain non-operational. Since the start of the war, four fountains located in the UNESCO zone have been completely shut down: the Memorial Fountain for the victims of German-Romanian fascists, the fountain «Petya and Gavrik», the «Youth» fountain («Children and the Froglet»), and the well-fountain «Spring».
