On October 26, 2024, a festive concert titled "Celebrating Bulgarian Heritage" took place in Odessa, in honor of the Day of Bessarabian Bulgarians in Ukraine.
The event featured performances by groups from various districts of the Odessa region, including:
- the Bulgarian folk dance ensemble «Bessarabia» from Bolgrad (leader - Petar Dimitrov);
- the dance ensemble «Kulevchantsi» from Kulevcha village, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (leader - Anastasia Kimurzhy);
- the dance ensemble «Kamchik» from Kamchik village, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district (leader - Svitlana Sulakova).
Also performing at the concert was the renowned Bulgarian singer Desi Dobreva, whose songs inspired the audience and guests to dance the traditional Bulgarian "horo".
The concert was part of the multicultural weeks of Odessa, organized by the Odessa Municipal Theater named after O. Salik.
