This film, a collaboration between the Odessa film studio and a Bulgarian company, made waves at the 29th Sofia International Film Fest. The screening was a pivotal moment for our team, even though not everyone could attend. Nevertheless, the spirit of our teamwork was palpable in every scene.
The storyline follows a Bulgarian man named Fory, who finds himself in the Danube delta. In the town of Vylkove, due to unfortunate circumstances, Fory ends up in custody.
Yet, in this town inhabited by Lipovans, he discovers true love, and the beauty and spiritual ambiance of the “Ukrainian Venice” make him realize that this is the place he has been searching for all his life.
