The Integrity Office of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) launched the initiative «Transparent Education» in 2022. The primary goal of this initiative is to transform the educational landscape with new learning materials and enhance transparency in educational institutions.
On October 29, 2024, at the Odesa Lyceum «European», a presentation of the project «Transparent Education: Towards Integrity Together» was held for heads of secondary educational institutions.
During the meeting, Serhiy Hupyak, the Deputy Head of NACP, emphasized that a key direction of the agency's work involves fostering integrity, conducting educational outreach, and developing learning materials for schools.
Participants were informed on how to effectively and engagingly teach children about corruption and integrity and how to apply this knowledge in practice.
The attendees discussed the role of educational institutions in establishing zero tolerance for corruption and outlined mechanisms to promote integrity and prevent corruption risks.
The project manager of the NACP Integrity Office, Alona Khylyko, presented the details of the project «Transparent Education: Towards Integrity Together».
Additionally, the meeting addressed issues related to organizing educational work in Odesa's educational institutions concerning the prevention of offenses.
