On the eve of International Mine Awareness Day, rescuers hosted an exciting safety celebration for kids at the «UNICEF Together» site.
There were many fun and educational activities waiting for the children.
They danced lively exercises with psychologists, searched for mock explosive devices using a mine detector, learned to differentiate between munitions, tried on protective gear of bomb disposal experts, and found out what to do if they encountered an unknown object.
Additionally, there were patriotic face painting by rescuers, quizzes, riddles, and treasure hunts, colorful balloons from «101» and a great time spent in a friendly environment.
It’s crucial for our kids to understand mine safety, as this knowledge can protect their health and save lives!
