On April 10, 2025, teachers and students from educational institutions in Odessa participated in an online seminar titled «Rise, Easter Egg!».
The event was part of the nationwide practical seminar «The Song of Ukraine Seen», addressing issues of symbolism and semantics in Ukrainian culture.
The seminar aimed to familiarize participants with Easter traditions and to teach various skills in decorative arts and crafts.
Attendees had the opportunity to listen to presentations by folk artisans about traditional Ukrainian art forms and to participate in workshops on egg painting, Petrykivka painting, crochet, straw weaving, and embroidery.
As a result of the seminar, participants received certificates.
Organizers included the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa City Council in collaboration with the interregional public organization «Black Sea Region «Zaporizhzhia Cossacks».
