Last week, a significant scientific and practical conference titled “Rehabilitation and Health - 2025” took place in Odesa. This event was organized with the support of the Rehabilitation Management Association and Odesa National Medical University.
During the conference, participants discussed the current state of rehabilitation services in Odesa and Southern Ukraine, as well as opportunities for veterans in adaptive sports, including their participation in international competitions. The importance of medical-psychological rehabilitation and social integration of Ukraine's defenders was emphasized.
Additionally, specialists from Hospital No. 10 presented new approaches to patient-centered care, while Hospital No. 8 shared experiences in integrating rehabilitation technologies into the natural environment using training areas that replicate natural and urban settings.
It is worth noting that Odesa has significant potential to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation system in Southern Ukraine.
