Recently, emergency medical responders in Odessa performed a miraculous feat by saving the life of a 54-year-old man who had entered clinical death.
This was reported by the Emergency Medical Assistance Center.
The medical team arrived at the scene in under ten minutes. It was revealed that the man had suffered a massive hemorrhage from the oral cavity following intravenous medication administration, leading to clinical death.
Before the team arrived, his relative, a nurse-anesthetist, provided initial care, ensuring intravenous access and maintaining airway patency.
Upon arrival, the crew comprising Dr. Vyacheslav Yuriyovych Dobrovichny, paramedic Kostiantyn Valeriyovych Baida, and medical technician Oleksandr Dmytrovych Podolyak immediately began resuscitation efforts. They performed chest compressions, intubated the trachea, and conducted artificial ventilation, administered adrenaline, and started crystalloid infusion.
By the 24th minute of resuscitation, the patient regained spontaneous circulation and was transported to the 11th municipal hospital.
The team didn't just arrive on time — they went above and beyond to give the individual a chance at life, the doctors emphasized.
