34-year-old athlete Alexander Litvinenko from the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports «Invasport» has secured a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.

The competition took place in the T36 class (long jump for athletes with movement impairments in all four limbs at a low to moderate level) with a result of 5.56 m.

This is Alexander's second Paralympic Games. In 2021, he finished seventh in the long jump and placed 13th in the 100-meter dash in Tokyo.

Alexander Litvinenko (personal coach – Tatyana Orlova) is the first athlete from the Odesa region to hold a medal from the 2024 Paralympics.
