From November 15 to 18, the Ukrainian synchronised swimming championship for juniors took place in the capital.

The competition featured 65 athletes from various regions, including Kyiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk.

Odessa was represented by athletes from the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve 'Chornomorets' and the Odessa Regional Complex Youth Sports School.

In the junior category, Vladyslava Kocherba from Odessa claimed the top spot in technical solo. In the duet events, the Odessa team consisting of Sofia Sarukhanyan and Taisia Pochepynska secured 3rd place.

In group events, the Odessa team, which included Vladyslava Kocherba, Sofia Sarukhanyan, Yelyzaveta Siedova, Taisia Pochepynska, and others, won silver medals in both technical and free programs, along with bronze in acrobatic group competitions.

Among the boys and girls, Sofia Sarukhanyan was crowned champion in technical solo. The duet event was also won by the team of Sofia Sarukhanyan and Yelyzaveta Siedova.

Moreover, the Odessa team excelled in combined group events, taking gold with athletes including Yelyzaveta Siedova, Maria Borysova, and others.

The athletes were trained by coaches Olga Nikolaychuk and Svitlana Pershina.
