Samsung has announced a significant update for all Windows users by making its proprietary applications accessible, regardless of whether they own a Galaxy laptop. This information comes from Sammobile.

Previously, apps such as Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, and Samsung Account were exclusive to the company's laptops, but now they can be downloaded on any computer running Windows 10 or 11. Users can find these applications in the Microsoft Store.

It is important to note that some applications require authentication through a Samsung Account, and the Notes app may indicate that it is optimized for Galaxy Book, which could result in minor issues on other devices.

Currently, the Microsoft Store offers apps like Gallery, Cloud, Screen Recorder, Galaxy Buds, Bixby, Samsung Studio, Phone, and others. However, the Samsung Find app is still limited to Galaxy laptops.

This long-anticipated move by Samsung enhances the Galaxy ecosystem for all Windows users and provides access to proprietary applications for a wider audience.
